On a plot of 1000 sqm in Pournari, Thessaloniki with southeast orientation and gentle slope in two directions a detached house was formed after the stage of the concrete skeleton on three levels.
The licensing of the property involved a total area of 350 sq.m. In the basement there are parking spaces and utility rooms, on the ground floor there is a living room, kitchen and guest wc while on the first floor there are three bedrooms with two bathrooms.
The design choice was based on functionality combined with modern design and technology elements that would enhance user ownership. Externally the application of external thermal insulation allowed the building to be shaped to the desired effect while individual shades and ledges helped manage sunlight and privacy. The interior is dominated by the sheer lines that followed and the interior design choices. Individual design elements include the design of ceilings combined with the solution of the cooling and lighting system, the choice of lighting and furniture, the individual partitions, the design of the interior stairway. The choice of materials was based on timelessness, quality integrity, energy footprint and high aesthetic quality.
